Lead Mentor/Tutor​

Salary £35k pa (neg)

Based: At our Brackley site

Role:

You will support the Director with the management of our new Brackley site, including:

  • Developing and overseeing the implementation and monitoring of programmes of study for the young people who attend our provision

  • Capturing management data on attendance, progress, etc.

  • Supporting and guiding our team of mentors and tutors

  • Overseeing Health and Safety and the administration of medication

  • Becoming the company’s Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.

Experience

You will have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience of supporting neurodiverse young people in an appropriate setting

  • Experience of managing staff

  • A demonstrable commitment to safeguarding

  • Appropriate qualifications/training.

The role would suit someone who has previously held the position of SENCO or Deputy SENCO, or equivalent in either a mainstream or special school setting.

Safeguarding is at the core of all our work. The successful candidate must share this commitment.

Due to the recent increase in referrals, we are aiming to undertake interviews, by arrangement, ASAP.

Ideally, the candidate would be available to start after Christmas, but this is negotiable.
